6. San Diego Cal-ID Remote Access Network (RAN) Board Funding Approval\nRECOMMENDATION:\nThat the City Council takes the following actions:\n1. Authorizes the City Manager, or designee, to accept the Cal-ID RAN Board-approved\nfunding of $104,041 to execute any documents and agreements necessary for the receipt\nand use of these funds; and\n2. Accepts, appropriates, and expends $104,041 of Cal-ID Ran Board funding to purchase\nthe RECOVER chemical processing device for the Police Forensic Lab.
