9. 2023-2024 Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP)\nGrant\nRECOMMENDATION:\nThat the City Council:\n1. Authorizes the City Manager or his designee to accept the California Office of Traffic\nSafety STEP Grant in the amount of $115,000 to execute any grant documents and\nagreements necessary for the receipt and use of these funds; and\n2. Accepts, appropriates, and expends California Office of Traffic Safety STEP Grant\n(OTS24 ALC/OTS24NOALC) funds in the amount of $107,644 for overtime, $2,266 for\ntraining and travel, and $5,090 for supplies, for a total grant award of $115,000.
