8. 2022 Operation Stonegarden Grant (OPSG) - Funded by the Office of Homeland Security\nRECOMMENDATION:\nThat the City Council takes the following actions:\n1. Authorizes the City Manager or designee to accept the 2022 Operation Stonegarden\nGrant (STNGRDN22) in the amount of $89,000, and to execute any grant documents and\nagreements necessary for the receipt and use of these funds; and\n2. Accepts, appropriates, and expends 2022 Operation Stonegarden Grant (STNGRDN22)\nfunding in the amount of $89,000 to reimburse the El Cajon Police Department for\novertime ($76,820), fringe benefits ($3,180), and equipment costs ($9,000), while\nparticipating in OPSG coordinated operations.
