Award of Construction Contract to Alfaro Communications Construction Inc.\nfor the Traffic Signal Equipment Upgrades Project, Cash Contract No. 23-07\nRecommendation\nStaff recommends that the City Council\n1. Award the Construction Contract for the Traffic Signal Equipment Upgrades\nProject, Cash Contract No. 23-07 to Alfaro Communications Construction,\nInc. in the amount of $234,097;\nCity Council Regular Meeting Agenda Page 3 of 7 November 7, 2023\n2. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to process change\norders in an amount not to exceed 10% of the contract for $23,410, for a\ntotal not-to-exceed amount of $257,507, if needed;\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Construction Contract for the\nTraffic Signal Equipment Upgrades Project, Cash Contract No. 23-07 with\nAlfaro Communications Construction, Inc., subject to the City Attorney\nmaking non-substantive changes; and,\n4. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to execute the Notice of\nCompletion at the conclusion of construction.
