Item No. 26. 2023-0836 CONSIDER APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 WITH\nJOHNSON CONTROLS, INC., (C23-083) TO\nINCREASE VIDEO SURVEILLANCE FOR THE\nSAFETY AND SECURITY OF CITY FACILITIES\nDURING NON-BUSINESS HOURS AND ADOPTION OF\nRESOLUTION NO. 23-180, APPROVING THE BUDGET\nTRANSFER IN FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 IN THE\nGENERAL BUDGET TO INCREASE THE JOHNSON\nCONTROLS, INC CONTRACT BUDGET (CITY\nCOUNCIL)\nRecommendation: Take the following actions:\n1. APPROVE Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with Johnson\nControls, Inc. (Exhibit No. 1; the "Amendment") to increase the\ncontract sum from $5,165,644.08 to $5,851,975.08.\n2. ADOPT Resolution No. 23-180, "A Resolution of the Carson\nCity Council approving budget transfer in the fiscal year 2023-24\nbudget in the General Fund" appropriating $686,331.00 from\nProject PW1737 to PW1674 to cover Johnson Controls, Inc.\ncontract (C23-083).\n3.
