M. Consideration and possible action to approve construction of the Restroom\nImprovements at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center Project. (O’Neill)\nRecommendation: 1) Approve the plans, specifications, and construction\ndocuments for the Restroom Improvements at Point Vicente Interpretive\nCenter Project;2) Find that 3M Construction Corporation’s bid for the\nRestroom Improvements at Point Vicente Interpretive Center Project is not\nresponsive; 3) Waive the submission of the Non-Collusion Affidavit by the bid\ndeadline as a non-material irregularity and accept the subsequently submitted\nNon-Collusion Affidavit from Ambit Construction & Design, Inc.; 4) Award a\nconstruction contract for the Restroom Improvements at Point Vicente\nInterpretive Center Project to Ambit Construction & Design, Inc., in the amount\nof $397,550, with a contingency of 10%, or approximately $39,800, for a total\namount of $437,350; 5) Approve an additional appropriation of $51,750 in the\nAmerican Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Fund and reduce the same amount in the\nCapital Infrastructure Program (CIP) Fund; and, 6) Authorize the Mayor and\nCity Clerk to execute the contract, in a form approved by the City Attorney.\nAgenda Report
