14.9 Consideration and Approval of an Increase in Construction Contingency and\n Amendment of the Professional Services Agreement with Pacifica Services to Provide\n Construction Management and Inspection Services for the Remedial Action Plan\n Implementation of the El Monte Gateway - Parcel 3 Project, CIP 841.\n\n RECOMMENDATION OF BUSINESS ITEM UNDER CONSIDERATION:\n\n It is recommended that the City Council:\n\n 1. Consider and approve an increase in the construction contingency for the Remedial\n Action Plan Implementation of the El Monte Gateway – Parcel 3 Project, CIP No. 841, for\n a not-to-exceed amount of $250,000;\n 2. Consider and approve Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with\n Pacifica Services to increase the original Agreement amount for an additional amount of\n $80,000 to provide additional Construction Management and Inspection Services for the\n Remedial Action Plan Implementation of the El Monte Gateway – Parcel 3 Project, CIP\n No. 841;\n 3. Consider and approve an allocation of Federal Funds in the amount of $330,000; and\n 4. Authorize the City Manager, or her designee, to execute Amendment No. 2 to the\n Professional Services Agreement with Pacifica Services for additional Construction\n Management and Inspection Services.\n\n Total Cost: $300,000 Account No: TBD\n Is the cost of this item budgeted?
