3.A.6. Update on Emergency Replacement of Water Main Line on Artesia Street,\nbetween N. Jordan Avenue and N. Algona Avenue\nRECOMMENDATION\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. DETERMINE that the project is statutorily exempt from California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15269 (Emergency\nProjects) (b) as the activity is the emergency repair of the publicly owned\nservice facilities (domestic water line) necessary to maintain service essential\nto the public health, safety or welfare as determined with the August 2, 2022\nCity Council Emergency Declaration; and,\n2. RECEIVE AND FILE the report on the emergency replacement of the water\nmain line on Artesia Street between N. Jordan Avenue and N. Algona\nAvenue; and,\n3. DETERMINE that there is a need to continue the emergency action pursuant\nto San Jacinto Municipal Code §3.08.070(B)(1).\nDepartment: Water
