Item No. 25. 2023-0823 CONSIDER APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO THE ON\nCALL CONSULTANT AGREEMENT WITH JOHN M.\nCRUIKSHANK CONSULTANTS INC., TO PROVIDE\nON-CALL ENGINEERING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES\nTO THE ENGINEERING DIVISION OF THE PUBLIC\nWORKS DEPARTMENT\nRecommendation: TAKE the following actions:\n1. WAIVE the formal bidding procedures as defined by the Carson\nMunicipal Code pursuant to the Carson Municipal Code Sections\n2611(e) (sole source purchasing).\n2. APPROVE Amendment No. 7 to the On-Call Consultant\nAgreement with JMC2 to provide On-Call Engineering\nProfessional Services increasing the not-to-exceed amount from\n$850,000.00 to $950,000.00 and extending the term by an\nadditional one (1) year until June 30, 2025 (Exhibit No.1).\n3.
