2. Hearing on the Amended and Restated Calabasas Landfill Joint Powers\nAgreement and Ordinance Amending County Code, Title 12 -\nEnvironmental Protection\nHearing on the Amended and Restated Calabasas Landfill Joint Powers\nAgreement (JPA) between the County and County Sanitation District No. 2\n(District) to consolidate the original Calabasas Landfill JPA and its subsequent\namendments and to provide for continued funding and operation of the\nCalabasas Landfill (3); ordinance for adoption amending County Code, Title 12\n- Environmental Protection, Section 12.48.050, which authorized the County to\nset refuse disposal rates at the Calabasas Landfill, to delete all references to\ntipping fee rates for the Calabasas Landfill and transfer the rate-setting authority\nback to the District; and find that approval of the JPA is not a project under the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act, or in the alternative, is exempt for the\nreasons stated.
