F. Consideration and possible action to authorize Amendment No. 1 to the\nprofessional services agreement with Transtech Engineers, Inc. for building\nand safety permit services. (Garrett)\nRecommendation: (1) Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Professional\nServices Agreement with Transtech Engineers, Inc. to increase the sum by\n$800,000 thereby increasing the not-to-exceed total agreement amount from\n$640,000 to $1,440,000 resulting in an annual not to exceed contract\nagreement of $360,000 for Building and Safety permit services; (2) Authorize\nthe Mayor and City Clerk to execute the amendment in a form approved by the\nCity Attorney; and, (3) Approve an additional appropriation of $200,000 to the\nProfessional and Technical Services account for the Building & Safety Division\nwithin the Community Development Department's budget.\nAgenda Report
