(3)\nBPW­2023­0684\nBSS + BCA\nCD 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15\nCONTRACT AWARD – LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE OF MEDIAN ISLANDS\nRecommending the Board:\n1. DECLARE Green Garden, Inc. (Green Garden) to be the lowest, responsive,\nresponsible bidder, and award them a contract for this project for a\ncombined total bid amount of $675,919.02 for Year One (2023­24), with City\noption to renew annually for two additional years;\n2. AUTHORIZE the President or two Board of Public Works (Board) Members\nto execute the contract for this project after approval as to form by the City\nAttorney has been obtained;\n3. INSTRUCT the Executive Officer of the Board to immediately advise Green\nGarden to submit their bonds and insurance documents within five working\ndays after the date of notification of award of this contract by the Board;\n4. INSTRUCT the Executive Officer of the Board to immediately advise Green\nGarden, that work on this project must start within five working days from the\ndate of issuance of the Notice to Proceed;\n5. INSTRUCT the Executive Officer of the Board to issue a Notice to Proceed\nfor the budgeted amount of $675,919.02; and\n6. DELEGATE authority to the Director of Bureau of Streets Services to take\nthe necessary actions to exercise the future renewal options and execute all\nrelated documents.
