C. REQUEST FROM THE TEMPLE CITY CAMELLIA FESTIVAL FOR SUPPORT\nAND AUTHORIZATION FOR USE OF STREETS AND FACILITIES FOR THE\n2024 CAMELLIA FESTIVAL\nThe City Council is requested to review and approve the requests from the\nTemple City Camellia Festival for the 2024 festival.\nRecommendation:\n1. Authorize use of City owned facilities, as identified in the attached letter from\nthe Camellia Festival to the City Manager (Attachment “A”);\n2. Authorize use of streets and parking areas including temporary parking bans\nand street closures for the festival and parade as identified in the attached\nletter from the Camellia Festival to the City Manager;\n3. Approve the permit for use of the Los Angeles County (County) Library parking\nlot for the 2024 Camellia Festival and authorize staff to execute;\n4. Approve permit for consumption of alcohol in City Park, pursuant to Section 4-\n4-0 of the TCMC for 2/23/24 – 2/25/24;\n5. Authorize Bingo in Temple City Park, pursuant to Section 4-1F of the TCMC\nand waiver of the license fee;\n6. Authorize sponsor banners in Temple City Park and Live Oak Park, pursuant\nto Section 3-5D-10 of the TCMC;\n7. Authorize use of City’s Social Media accounts to advertise Camellia Festival\nactivities;
