PROJECT NO. 7935 – RESOLUTION NO. 23-75 BUDGET AMENDMENT - AWARD CONTRACT FOR\nENGINEERING DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT SERVICES FOR LOCAL STREET\nREHABILITATION ZONES 2, 9, & 29\nStaff recommends City Council:\na. adopt Resolution No. 23-75, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF\nNORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2023/24 ADOPTED\nBUDGET TO APPROPRIATE STREET RENOVATION FUNDS TO PROJECT NO. 7935 – LOCAL\nSTREETS REHABILITATION PROJECT DESIGN of ZONES 2, 9, and 29, in the amounts of\n$986,590; and\nb. award a Professional Services Agreement to Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. for Project No. 7935\n(Zones 2, 9 and 29) to provide professional engineering services for design and construction support\nfor scope of services included in Engineering Work Order No. 1 for a term of two years from the date\nof execution, with the option to extend for two additional one-year term extensions, for an amount\nnot to exceed $986,590; and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement,\napprove amendments within the City Manager’s signing authority, provided there is funding in the\nbudget, on behalf of the City, in a form approved by the City Attorney.
