Medicare Part B Premium Reimbursement Program for 2024\nRecommendation: Renew the Medicare Part B Premium Reimbursement\nProgram (Program) for the 2024 calendar year for retirees enrolled in a Los\nAngeles County Employees Retirement Association-administered Medicare Risk\nHealth Maintenance Organization or Medicare Supplement Plan; direct the\nChief Executive Officer to report back to the Board prior to January 1, 2025,\nwith recommendations regarding the Medicare Part B reimbursement policy for\nthe 2025 calendar year; and reaffirm the Board’s right to change or terminate\nthe Program at any time, if it ceases to be cost effective.
