Fire Protection Services Agreement\nRecommendation: Acting as the Governing Body of the Consolidated Fire\nProtection District, authorize the Fire Chief to enter into an agreement for the\nprovision of fire protection services to the State Responsibility Areas effective\nJuly 1, 2023, and to receive reimbursement for such services in the amount up\nto $124,968,219 for Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-24 through FY 2025-26 as defined\nin the agreement; execute any amendments, notice of termination to the\nagreement, and accept additional reimbursement from the State of California\nDepartment of Forestry (CAL FIRE); approve similar agreements with CAL\nFIRE for reimbursement of fire protection and emergency medical services;\nand find that this agreement is exempt from the California Environmental Quality\nAct.
