18. Transitional Housing Program (THP) Round 5, Housing Navigation and\nMaintenance Program Round 2, and THP-Plus Housing Supplement\nProgram Round 3\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Solis: In order to participate in the\nState of California Transitional Housing Program (THP) Round 5, Housing\nNavigation and Maintenance Program (HNMP) Round 2, and THP-Plus Housing\nSupplement Program Round 3 funding allocations, adopt a resolution\nauthorizing the Department of Children and Family Services to participate in the\nTHP Round 5, HNMP Round 2, and THP-Plus Housing Supplement Program\nRound 3 and accept the additional funding allocation; and authorize the Director\nof Children and Family Services to take the following actions:\nAccept the funding for the THP Round 5, HNMP Round 2, and THP-Plus\nHousing Supplement Program Round 3 for the County, by submitting the\nsigned resolution to the California Department of Housing and\nCommunity Development;\nIn consultation with County Counsel, execute amendments to THP-Plus\ncontracts to increase the maximum contract amount to distribute the new\nfunding allocation to accommodate an increase in units of service and/or\nincrease the current rate of the units, and update THP-Plus contracts for\nnecessary programmatic changes; and\nIn consultation with County Counsel, execute amendments to the\nMemorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Departments of\nChildren and Family Services and Health Services for Housing\nNavigators to increase the MOU amount with the new funding allocation.\n(23-4310)
