26. Software and Implementation Services to Enhance the County’s\nEnterprise Financial and Human Resources Applications Agreement\nAmendment\nRecommendation: Approve and authorize the Auditor-Controller to execute an\namendment to an agreement with CGI Technologies and Solutions, Inc. (CGI) to\nupgrade to a new software version, CGI Advantage® software (Version 4), to\nprovide modern architecture, enhanced functionality and maintenance services\nfor the Enterprise Financial and Human Resources software applications\n(eCAPS and eHR), with the software upgrade, implementation services, and 10\nyears of maintenance being a fixed-price in the amount of $116,185,170,\neffective upon execution through June 30, 2033; and approve and execute\nchange notices utilizing contingency funds in the Services and License\nAgreement to obtain as-needed services not to exceed $10,000,000 as outlined\nin the amendment, and do not affect the scope of work, term of agreement,\nmaximum agreement sum, payments or any terms or conditions included under\nthe agreement; and approve an appropriation adjustment to transfer\n$13,201,000 from the Committed for Information Technology (IT)\nEnhancements, commonly known as the County’s IT Legacy Modernization\nFund, to fund Fiscal Year 2023-24 year-one implementation costs.\n(Department of Auditor-Controller) APPROVE 4-VOTES (NOTE: The Acting\nChief Information Officer recommends approval of this item.)
