14. Moving Forward with Facilitated Property Tax Collection\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Barger: Instruct the Treasurer\nand Tax Collector to develop a pilot program with Easy Smart Pay for voluntary\nautomated monthly tax payments in Los Angeles County; authorize the\nTreasurer and Tax Collector to negotiate and execute an agreement, and any\namendments, with Easy Smart Pay for the pilot program to include necessary\nrequirements to protect taxpayer funds in alignment with the County’s existing\ninvestment policies; and report back to the Board in writing within two years\nafter the launch of the program to provide an assessment of the pilot program\nand recommendations about the future of the program.
