39. Repeal an Existing Ordinance for the County of Kern and a Cooperative\nRoad Maintenance Agreement\nRecommendation: Approve an ordinance for introduction to repeal Ordinance\nNo. 11,508, which authorized the County of Kern to improve and maintain a\ncertain portion of Frazier Mountain Park Road located within the unincorporated\nWest Antelope Valley area of the County Los Angeles (5); approve and\nauthorize the Director of Public Works to sign the cooperative Road\nMaintenance Agreement between the County and the County of Kern to\ndelineate responsibilities for roadway maintenance, becoming effective\nfollowing the repeal of Ordinance No. 11,508; and find that the proposed project\nis exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
