Public Works - Approve Plans and Specifications, Award Public Works\nAgreement, and Adopt Categorical Exemption Under California Environmental\nQuality Act (CEQA) Section 15301(c) - Existing Facilities (Class 1) for the Anza\nAvenue Rehabilitation Project (Sepulveda Blvd to Del Amo Blvd), 1-144.\nExpenditure: $4,090,711 (Non-General Fund).\nRecommendation of the Public Works Director that City Council:\n1) Approve the plans and specifications for the Anza Avenue Rehabilitation Project\n(Sepulveda Blvd to Del Amo Blvd), 1-144; and\n2) Award a public works agreement to All American Asphalt of Corona, CA (82023-33) in\nthe amount of $3,557,140 and authorize a 15% contingency in the amount of $533,571\nfor the Anza Avenue Rehabilitation Project (Sepulveda Blvd to Del Amo Blvd), 1-144 for\na two-year period beginning December 12, 2023 and ending December 11, 2025; and\n3) Adopt a finding that the project is categorically exempt under the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section\n15301(c) - Existing Facilities (Class 1) and that there are no features that distinguish\nthis project from others in exempt class, and therefore, there are no unusual\ncircumstances.\n10.
