GG. DESERT COMMUNITY ENERGY GUARANTY\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Adopt a Resolution entitled, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN UNCONDITIONAL\nGUARANTY OF THE ELECTRICITY PROCUREMENT OBLIGATIONS OF\nDESERT COMMUNITY ENERGY, NOT TO EXCEED $25 MILLION, UNDER A\nRESOURCE MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE ENERGY AUTHORITY,\nINC.”\n2. Authorize the City Manager, in consultation with the City Attorney, to negotiate and\ntake such actions necessary and appropriate to finalize and execute the Guaranty\nand associated documents.
