SECOND READING AND ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 30-2023 ADOPTION OF AND\nAMENDMENT TO THE 2022 CALIFORNIA FIRE CODE / AMENDMENT TO BARSTOW FIRE\nPROTECTION DISTRICT STANDARDS\nRecommended Action:\nAdopt Barstow Fire Protection District Ordinance 30-2023, adopting the 2022 California Fire\nCode, regulating and governing the safeguarding of life and property from fire and explosion\nhazards arising from the storage, handling and use of hazardous substances, materials and\ndevices, and from conditions hazardous to life or property in the occupancy of buildings and\npremises in the Barstow Fire Protection District; providing for the issuance of permits and\ncollection of fees therefore; repealing Ordinance No. 29-19 of the Barstow Fire Protection District\nand all other ordinances and parts of the ordinances in conflict therewith, by title only and waive\nthe full reading.
