6.C. PROTECTED BIKE FACILITIES ON\nBEVERLY BOULEVARD [J. ERICKSON, C.\nBYERS, Y. QUARKER, H. MOLINA]:\nThe City Council will consider directing staff to\ndevelop a plan on how best to move forward\nwith the amendment of the Design District\nStreetscape Master Plan as it relates to\nplanning and implementing protected bike\nfacilities along Beverly Boulevard.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Direct staff to\ndevelop a process to amend the Design\nDistrict Streetscape Master Plan (DDSMP) so\nthat it includes protected bike facilities on\nBeverly Boulevard, unless there is no room;\nand 2) Direct staff to report back to the City\nCouncil with recommendations on the above-\nreferenced process to amend the DDSMP\nonce the workplans of the Community\nDevelopment Department (CDD) and\nDepartment of Public Works (DPW) have\nbeen amended.
