Expenditure: None.\nRecommendation of the Community Services Director that City Council:\n1) Approve an eighth amendment to the concession agreement with South Bay Tennis\nCenter of Torrance, CA (C2008-243) for the lease and full operation of the Las Canchas\nTennis Facility and to extend the term for a five-year period beginning January 1, 2024\nand ending December 31, 2028; and\n2) Adopt a finding that the project is categorically exempt under the California\nEnvironmental Act (CEQA) pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15301 –\nExisting Facilities (Class 1) and that there are no features that distinguish this project\nfrom others in exempt class, and therefore, there are no unusual circumstances.
