RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR THE PURCHASE AND\nINSTALLATION OF NEW POLE LED LIGHTING AT JOHN ANSON FORD PARK\nConsideration of a Resolution approving an agreement with ABM Electrical & Lighting Solutions,\nInc. formerly known as ABM Industries, Inc. for the purchase and installation of new pole LED\nwalkway lighting at John Anson Ford Park.\nRecommendation:\nIt is staff’s recommendation that the City Council:\n1. Adopt the attached Resolution approving an agreement with ABM Electrical & Lighting\nSolutions, Inc. formerly known as ABM Industries Inc. for the purchase and installation of new\nLED lighting for a total amount not to exceed $249,909.48;\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement and approve change orders that may\nbe necessary during construction to cover any unforeseen condition in an amount not to\nexceed 10% of the agreement amount; and\n3. Appropriate $275,000 from the General Fund to complete this project.
