17. School Zone Designation along Santa Margarita Parkway Fronting Trabuco Hills High\nSchool\nRecommended Action: (1) Consider establishing a School Zone along Santa Margarita\nParkway between West City Limits and Los Alisos Boulevard and implement a speed\nreduction of the posted speed limit from 50MPH to 25MPH while children are present; and\n(2) authorize the Public Works Director to amend the 2022 Citywide Speed Limit Study to\nincorporate the school zone designation if approved.
