1-D. Housing-Related Hazards Capital Fund Program Funding\nRecommendation: Authorize the Executive Director of the Los Angeles County\nDevelopment Authority to enter into an agreement with the United States\nDepartment of Housing and Urban Development, to receive an amount not to\nexceed $4,800,000 in Capital Fund Program (CFP) funds for the remediation of\nhousing-related hazards in Public Housing and to be used for asbestos\nremediation at the Nueva Maravilla Public Housing Development in\nunincorporated East Los Angeles (1); authorize the Executive Director to\nincorporate these funds into the Los Angeles County Development Authority’s\nFiscal Year 2023-24 budget; and find that the proposed actions are not a\nproject under the California Environmental Quality Act.
