29. Compton Boulevard Bridge Over Compton Creek Project\nRecommendation: Consider the Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) for the\nCompton Boulevard Bridge over Compton Creek Project (Project) located in the\nCity of Compton (2), together with any comments received during the public\nreview process; find that the MND reflects the independent judgment and\nanalysis of the Board; adopt the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program\n(MMRP), finding that the MMRP is adequately designed to ensure compliance\nwith the mitigation measures during Project implementation; find on the basis of\nthe whole record before the Board, that there is no substantial evidence the\nProject may have a significant effect on the environment and adopt the MND;\napprove the Project to replace the Compton Boulevard Bridge over Compton\nCreek; and authorize the Director of Public Works to continue with the\npreconstruction phase of the Project, including the preparation of construction\ndocuments and applications for all necessary jurisdictional approvals.\n(Department of Public Works) ADOPT (24-0048)
