I. CONSTRUCTION AND REHABILITATION OF BEACH TRAIL FENCING, AN\nAPPROPRIATION OF FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $250,000 TO\nCONTINUE PEDESTRIAN AUDIBLE WARNING SYSTEM, AND FINDING THE\nPROJECT CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT FROM THE CALIFORNIA\nENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT UNDER CLASS 1\nStaff Recommendation\nAdopt Resolution No. 24-05, which will:\n1. Find the project is categorically exempt from CEQA under Class 1\n(Existing Facilities, 14 CCR section 15301) of the State CEQA Guidelines\nsection 15301.\n2. Appropriate funds in the amount of $250,000 to Account Number 001-631\n-45700 for the procurement of materials and labor for the rehabilitation of\nthe Beach Trail fencing together with associated permitting costs.\n3. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to purchase all required\nmaterials for the project up to $120,000 following applicable procurement\npolicy and procedure.\nCity Council REVISED Special and Regular Meeting January 16, 2024\nAgenda\n4. Direct staff to procure a contract for the associated labor for the project\nfollowing applicable procurement policy and procedure.
