10.9 California Department of Transportation's Highway Safety Improvement Program\nCycle 11 Grant\nRECOMMENDED ACTION\n1. Accept the Fiscal Year 2023/2024 California Department of Transportation's\n("Caltrans") Highway Safety Improvement Program Cycle 11 grant funds for the\nCitywide Traffic Signal Safety Improvements Project, Capital Improvement\nProgram No. 24-01; and\n2. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a program supplemental\nagreement with CalTrans for the project specifications and estimates phase of\nthe Project in the amount of $162,000; and\n3. Adopt a resolution establishing the City's eligibility to receive the identified grant\nfunding from Caltrans and authorize the City Manager to execute any future\nagreements and grant-related documents necessary to receive the Cycle 11\nHighway Safety Improvement Grant funds; and\n4. Adopt a budget amendment resolution appropriating $162,000 for the Project in\nrevenues and expenditures in the Grant Fund (Fund 301).\nMenifee Mayor and City Council January 17, 2024
