E Consideration and possible action to adopt Resolution No. 24-02 – A\nResolution approving application(s) for specified grant funds from Budget\nAct 2022/23, 19.561(b)(34) for $2,700,000 to the City of Bellflower, for the City\nof Bellflower capital outlay related to The Oak Center.\nCEQA: The City has budgeted $12,369,449 for The Oak Center project in Fiscal\nYear 2023/2024, in account nos. 010-47604-9000, 030-47604-9000, and 070-\n47604-9000. If adopted, the resolution will allow the City to obtain additional grant\nfunding in the amount of $2,700,000 from the Department, on a reimbursable\nbasis, which will further reduce the overall financial burden to the City.\nRecommendation to City Council: 1) Adopt Resolution No. 24-02; or\n2) Alternatively, discuss and take other action related to this item.
