A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A COST RECOVERY PROGRAM AGREEMENT WITH\nTHE CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD, LOS ANGELES\nA request to approve a Cost Recovery Program Agreement with the California Regional Water\nQuality Control Board, Los Angeles Region.\nRecommendation:\nIt is staff’s recommendation that the City Council:\n1. Adopt the attached Resolution authorizing a Cost Recovery Program Agreement with the\nCalifornia Water Quality Control Board, Los Angeles Region, for environmental investigation\nand cleanup oversight of the contaminated former Berk Oil and Pacific Metal Craft property\nlocated at 5600-5636 Shull Street, subject to City Attorney approval, as to form; and\n2. Appropriate $312,914.86 from the General Fund to be reimbursed by DTSC’s Equitable\nCommunities Revitalization Grant funding.
