AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE JOHN ANSON FORD PARK\nREGIONAL AQUATICS CENTER IMPROVEMENTS (CIP NO. 3888) (CDBG PROJECT\nNO. 602095-19)\nConsideration of award of a Construction Contract to Bernards Bros. Inc. for the John Anson Ford\nPark Regional Aquatics Center Improvements.\nRecommendation:\nIt is staff’s recommendation that the City Council by motion:\n1. Award a Construction Contract to Bernards Bros. Inc. for the John Anson Ford Park Regional\nAquatics Center Improvements; CIP 3888; CDBG Project No. 60295-19;\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Construction Contract, subject to City Attorney\napproval as to form; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to approve change orders that may be necessary during construction\nto cover any unforeseen condition in an amount not to exceed 6% of the Construction Contract.\nDISCUSSION (Item No. 11)
