12. Increasing Jewish Community Safety throughout Los Angeles County\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Horvath: Instruct the Fire Chief, in\ncollaboration with the Sheriff and the Director of the Office of Emergency\nManagement, Chief Executive Office, to report back to the Board within 120\ndays with a plan to develop an antisemitism and mass violence attack\npreparedness and training exercise, including implementation timelines; instruct\nthe Executive Director of Racial Equity to create and produce training videos\nfor local law enforcement agencies regarding antisemitism prevention and\nresponse, including resources and tactics for increased safety, collaborating\nwith Jewish community-based organizations as necessary; and instruct the\nExecutive Director of Racial Equity, in collaboration with the Executive Director\nof the Human Relations Commission, to compile a list of Countywide public\nsafety, nonprofit, and mental health resources for the Jewish community\nmodeled after the City of West Hollywood’s Community Safety in the City of\nWest Hollywood (November 2023) brochure.
