Carolyn Rosas and Franklin Roosevelt Parks Americans with Disabilities\nAct Emergency Shelter Refurbishment Projects\nRecommendation: Establish and approve the Carolyn Rosas Park Americans\nwith Disabilities Act Emergency Shelter Refurbishment Project, Capital Project\n(CP) No. 87989, with a total project budget of $840,000, and the Franklin\nRoosevelt Park Americans with Disabilities Act Emergency Shelter\nRefurbishment Project, CP No. 8A026, with a total project budget of $1,160,000\n(Projects) (1 and 2); approve an appropriation adjustment to transfer $770,000\nto CP No. 87989 and $1,075,000 to CP No. 8A026, for a total of $1,075,000 for\na total of $1,845,000 from the Various Americans with Disabilities Act Program\nCompliance Projects, CP No. 87052, to fully fund these proposed projects;\nauthorize the Director of Public Works to deliver the proposed Projects using\nBoard-approved Job Order Contracts; and find that the proposed Projects are\nexempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
