34. Screening and Treatment for Maternal Depression and Related Behavioral\nDisorders Program Federal Funding\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Health Services to accept\nforthcoming funding in the amount of $749,804 annually for five years, for total\nfunding in the amount of $3,749,020, as well as any supplemental funding that\nmay be awarded under this mechanism from the Health Resources and\nServices Administration (HRSA) for the Department of Health Services MAMA’s\nPerinatal Resources to Optimize Mental Health Interventions and Substance Use\nTreatment Excellence Program, to improve behavioral health and reduce\nmaternal health inequities in the County, and to execute any necessary\ndocuments to accept the funding, effective upon execution; execute\namendments to the HRSA grant award and all related documents, to extend the\nterm, adjust the scope, budget, or funding amount(s) and reflect non-material\nand/or ministerial revisions to the grant’s terms and conditions.
