37. STD Prevention Services Contract Amendments\nRecommendation: Approve and instruct the Director of Public Health to execute\namendments to 10 Sexually Transmitted Disease Screening, Diagnosis, and\nTreatment Services (STD-SDTS) contracts, to increase the annual maximum\nobligation by $5,503,836, from $4,342,088 to $9,845,924, effective upon\nexecution for the period of January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024, 100%\nfunded by Tobacco Settlement Funds (TSF) and California Department of\nPublic Health (CDPH) Future of Public Health (FPH) funds; execute\namendments to two STD Sexual Health Express Clinic (SHEx-C) Services\ncontracts, to increase the annual maximum obligation by $694,093, from\n$1,500,000 to $2,194,093, effective upon execution for the period of February\n1, 2024 through December 31, 2024, 100% funded by TSF and CDPH FPH\nfunds; and authorize the Director to take the following actions: (Department of\nPublic Health) APPROVE\nExecute an amendment to one STD Infertility Prevention Project (STD\nIPP) Services contract to increase the annual maximum obligation by\n$170,000, from $1,077,058 to $1,247,058, effective upon execution\nthrough June 30, 2024, 100% funded by TSF and CDPH FPH funds;\nExecute amendments to the STD IPP contract that extend the term of the\ncontract through December 31, 2024, at amounts to be determined by\nthe Director of Public Health, contingent upon the availability of funds\nand contractor performance, 100% funded by TSF and CDPH FPH\nfunds, provide an increase or decrease in funding up to 10% above or\nbelow the revised annual base maximum obligation of the contract\neffective upon amendment execution, or at the beginning of the\napplicable contract period, correct errors in the contract's terms and\nconditions and/or update the statement of work and/or scope of work, as\nnecessary, and to the STD-SDTS and SHEx-C contracts that provide an\nincrease or decrease in funding up to 25% above or below the revised\nannual base maximum obligation of the contracts, effective upon\namendment execution, or at the beginning of the applicable contract\nperiod, correct errors in the contracts' terms and conditions and/or\nupdate the statement of work and/or scope of work, as necessary, allow\na no-cost extension to the term of up to six months;\nExecute change notices to the contracts that authorize budget\nmodifications within each budget, modify the statement of work and/or\nscope of work within the same scope of services, changes to hours of\noperation and/or service locations; and\nImmediately suspend or terminate the contracts upon issuing a written\nnotice to contractors who fail to perform and/or fully comply with program\nrequirements, and to terminate the contracts for convenience by\nproviding a 30-calendar day advance written notice to contractors.\n(24-0241)
