38. Support Strengthening STD Prevention and Control\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Public Health to accept and\nimplement a forthcoming amendment from the Centers for Disease Control and\nPrevention (CDC), Assistance Listing Number 93.977, to support Strengthening\nSTD Prevention and Control for Health Departments (STD PCHD) efforts for the\nextension period of February 1, 2024 through January 31, 2025, at an\nestimated annual amount of $3,356,049, as determined by the CDC; accept\nfuture award(s) and/or amendment(s) that are consistent with the requirements\nof the CDC award that provide additional funding for STD-related activities,\nextend the awards at amounts to be determined by CDC, and/or provide an\nincrease or decrease in funding; accept future amendments that are consistent\nwith the requirements of the CDC awards referenced above that reflect\nnon-material and/or ministerial revisions to the award’s terms and conditions\nand allow for the rollover of unspent funds and/or redirection of funds.\n(Department of Public Health) APPROVE (24-0242)
