15.a APPROVE THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO DEVELOPMENT 177\nAGREEMENT 98-1 BETWEEN THE CITY OF PALM DESERT AND\nMARRIOTT OWNERSHIP RESORTS, INC.\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Adopt a Resolution entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY\nCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA,\nAPPROVING THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE\nDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PALM\nDESERT AND MARRIOTT OWNERSHIP RESORTS, INC., CASE\nNO. DA 98-1, AMENDMENT NO. 2.”\n2. Approve the Second Amendment to the Development Agreement\n(DA 98-1) between the City of Palm Desert and Marriott\nOwnership Resorts, Inc.\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Second Amendment to\nthe Development Agreement.\n4. Authorize the City Attorney to make necessary, non-monetary\nchanges to the Second Amendment to the Development\nAgreement.\n5. Authorize adjustment of $1,600,000 to Timeshare Mitigation\nRevenue Account Number 1100000-3122900.
