4. DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEE EVALUATION AWARD OF CONTRACT – The City of La\nVerne utilizes five (5) development impact fees to cover the costs of improvements impacted\nby the increased demand for new property development projects. The fees are periodically\nreassessed to align with the evolving needs of the City’s growing population and the City\nreleased a request for proposals to update these fees and propose potential fees.\nRECOMMENDATION: That the City Council approve a professional services agreement\nwith David Taussig & Associates to evaluate development impact fees and authorize the\nCity Manager to execute the agreement.
