6. Consideration of Ordinance No. 1205-24 to amend certain sections in Title 17 of the\nLawndale Municipal Code pertaining to accessory dwelling units within the City of\nLawndale\nRecommendation: that the City Council A.) Conduct a public hearing; B.) Determine that\nOrdinance No. 1205-24 is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act\n("CEQA") pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) and Section 15282(h) of the CEQA\nGuidelines; and C.) Introduce for first reading by title only Ordinance No. 1205-24, an\nOrdinance amending the Lawndale Municipal Code regarding accessory dwelling units\n(ADUs) to reflect recent changes in state law, and waive further reading.
