Item No. 20. 2023-0962 CONSIDER (1) ADOPTING RESOLUTION NO. 24-004\nAMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2023/24 BUDGET\nAND (2) AWARDING A PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACT\nTO JESUS BLUMENKRON, DBA KRONS PRO\nPAINTING, FOR REPAIRS TO THE HEMINGWAY\nPARK MAIN BUILDING FLOORS FUNDED BY A LOS\nANGELES COUNTY PROPOSITION A MAINTENANCE\n& SERVICING ALLOCATIONS GRANT ON A\nREIMBURSEMENT BASIS (CITY COUNCIL)\nRecommendation: TAKE the following actions:\n1. ADOPT Resolution No. 24-004, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY\nCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING\nTHE FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 BUDGET IN THE SPECIAL\nREVENUE FUNDS";\n2. AWARD and APPROVE the attached Public Works Agreement\nbetween the City of Carson and Jesus Blumenkron, dba Krons Pro\nPainting, a sole proprietorship (Exhibit No. 2; "Agreement");\n3. AUTHORIZE the Mayor and/or City Manager to execute the\nAgreement following approval as to form by City Attorney; and\n4.
