PROJECT NO. 7936 – AWARD OF CONTRACT AND RESOLUTION NO. 24-07 – BUDGET AMENDMENT\nFOR CURB RAMP REPLACEMENTS – ENGINEER’S REPORT NO. 23-24\nStaff recommends City Council:\na. adopt Resolution No. 24-07, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF\nNORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2023/24 ADOPTED\nBUDGET TO APPROPRIATE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS TO\nPROJECT NO. 7936 – CURB RAMP REPLACEMENTS, in the amount of $615,267; and\nb. award a contract to Kalban, Inc. in an amount of $573,400 for Project No. 7936, Curb Ramp\nReplacements; and authorize the City Manager to execute the amendment including potential\nchange orders, up to the approved retention amount, provided there is funding in the budget, on\nbehalf of the City, in a form approved by the City Attorney. 1005-04-7936
