23. Proclaiming February 2024 as “Spay/Neuter Awareness Month”\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Solis: Proclaim February 2024 as\n“Spay/Neuter Awareness Month”; instruct the Director of Animal Care and\nControl to provide free spay/neuter services during the month of February; and\ninstruct the Director of Animal Care and Control and the County\nCommunications Branch, Chief Executive Office, in highly utilized languages, to\npromote no-cost and low-cost spay/neuter services on County and Department\nof Animal Care and Control websites and social media accounts, including\nother resources and services provided by community rescues and\norganizations, for the month of February.
