A Consideration and possible action to conduct a public hearing to 1) adopt\nResolution No. 23-06 – A Resolution adopting the development impact fees\nfor public facilities, park facilities, public safety facilities, and transportation\nfacilities in accordance with Chapter 3.40 of the Bellflower Municipal Code;\nand 2) read by title only, waive further reading, and introduce Ordinance\nNo. 1424 – An Ordinance repealing Chapter 3.24 and Sections 3.36.020 and\n3.36.060 of the Bellflower Municipal Code, and adding a new Chapter 3.40,\nentitled “Development Impact Fees” to Title 3 of the Bellflower Municipal\nCode for the purpose of imposing fees on applicants seeking to construct\ndevelopment projects.\nRecommendation to City Council: 1) Open the public hearing; take documentary\nand testimonial evidence; and after considering the evidence, adopt Resolution\nNo. 23-06 adjusting existing and adding new development impact fees; and\n2) Read by title only, waive further reading, and introduce Ordinance No. 1424 to\nimpose development impact fees for public, park, public safety, and transportation\nfacilities; or 3) Alternatively, discuss and take other action related to this item.
