3-N. FISCAL YEAR 2023 ASSISTANCE TO FIREFIGHTERS GRANTS (AFG) PROGRAM\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Adopting a resolution authorizing the City Manager or designee, to apply for, receive, and\nappropriate grant funds for the Fiscal Year 2023 Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program;\n(2) Authorizing the City’s Finance Department to appropriate money from the General Fund\nbalance to fund the required applicant match if the grant is awarded;\n(3) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
