NOTICE INVITING BIDS: 2024 USDA SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM – F2M24-\n25, N2M24-27\nThe Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a federally funded program administered\nby the State of California Department of Education. The proposed SFSP will begin\ndistributing lunches and snacks on May 28, 2024 and will provided Monday through Friday\nthrough August 2, 2024. Food will be distributed at Alhambra, Granada and Almansor\nParks. The City will be eligible for reimbursement by the California Department of\nEducation for lunches, snacks and operational costs.\nRecommended Action: City Council approve the City’s participation in the 2024\nSummer Food Service Program; authorize staff to circulate a Notice Inviting Bids to secure\na vendor to provide prepared lunches and snacks for the program.
