RESOLUTION REGARDING FIREARMS LEGISLATION AND LOCAL REGULATION It is recommended that the City Council consider: (1) Adopting a draft Resolution supporting certain federal and state legislation regulation firearms and directing the City Manager and City Attorney to propose amendments to the Monterey Park Municipal Code (“MPMC”) to protect public health and safety from future Mass Casualty Incidents (“MCI”) as defined; and (2) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
