A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MONTEREY PARK IN SUPPORT OF ACA 5, CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT TO REPEAL PROPOSITION 8 LANGUAGE AND PROTECTS SAME-SEX MARRIAGE (REQUESTED BY MAYOR PRO TEM WONG) It is recommended that the City Council consider: (1) Adopting a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Monterey Park in support of ACA 5, constitutional amendment to repeal Proposition 8 language and protects same-sex marriage; and (2) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
